What To Bring Dress in the Northern Territory is usually casual, so bring comfortable, casual clothing. Remember, in the southern part of the ‘Territory’ – i.e. Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Alice Springs – nights in winter (May to August) can be cold, frosts do occur and occasionally a cold wind blows, so bring warm clothing to suit. The days are usually sunny and warm. Remember to bring strong, non-slip walking shoes. Bring hats, sunglasses, a Camera, water bottle & sunscreen.
