Park up close with all the convenience of self contained accommodation. The two bedroom chalets have a lounge and dining area, ensuite and kitchen and a generous balcony where Wallabies and other wildlife can be observed wandering freely by.
Getting There The Nitmiluk Chalets are located at Nitmiluk (Katherine) Gorge 29km from Katherine.
They are centrally positioned below the escarpment entrance just 600m to the departure point for boat cruises and canoes and are perfectly located at the start of several short circuit walks.

Very, very compact accommodation - not at all what was expected from the name "Chalet" however for 1 night it was satisfactory. Pool area was great.

The chalets were ideal for relaxing holiday with all facilities and a pleasant outdoor dining area. When we arrived after dark the chalets were unfortunately not signposted and the staff at the cafe did not appreciate that we had a booking.
Very limited food is available in Nitmulik National Park and you really need to get food from Katerine where there are two large supermarkets.
